Triple Play Batting Cages High School Corner highlights players who have taken (and continue to take) lessons with the Triple Play Staff and/or played on our Triple Play All-Star AAU baseball teams or AAU, Legion or other teams coached by our staff.
 

 

Ryan Bowen
Position: RHP
Hometown: Hudson, Mass.
High School: Hudson High
B/T: R/R
 
2011:Bowen made 10 starts on the mound as a senior... Went 8-2 with a 3.23 ERA in xx innings... Lead team in innings pitched and strikeouts (72)... Opponents hit just .217 against him. 
Bowen pitched Hudson High to a Central Division 2 title in an 8-3 win over Northbridge.  In the game Bowen tossed 101 pitches and allowed just four hits and three runs (one earned) in the complete-game win.  He retired the final seven batters. Ryan was named Co-MVP of Mid-Wach B division, as well as to the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team and the Metrowest All-Star team.  Ryan was a 3 year varsity player at Hudson High.  Ryan will be attending Framingham State University in the fall.

Triple Play: Ryan has been taking pitching lessons with Coach Chuck Schoolcraft since age 12 and played AAU baseball for Coach Mark Chiasson (12U) and Coach Schoolcraft (14U & 15U) at America's Pastime from age 12 to age 15.
 

Sam Ashline
Position: 3B
Hometown: Bolton, Mass.

2012: Ashline had a .364 batting average in 66 at-bats with 1 home run and 10 runs batted in.  Sam lead his team in doubles (6), walks (13), and runs scored (23).  He was named Mid-Wach All-Star and to the Fitchburg Sentinel All-Star team.  He also received honorable mention for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team and the Metrowest All-Star team. 

2011: Ashline had a .364 batting average in 66 at-bats with 1 home run and 10 runs batted in.  Sam lead his team in doubles (6), walks (13), and runs scored (23).  He was named Mid-Wach All-Star and to the Fitchburg Sentinel All-Star team.  He also received honorable mention for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team and the Metrowest All-Star team.

Sean Foster
Position: OF
Hometown: Bolton, Mass.

2011: Foster lead Nashoba with a
.418 batting average and .508 on-base-percentage in 67 at-bats with 3 home runs and 13 runs batted in.  Sean lead his team in doubles (6), second in walks (11),  and second runs scored (18).   He was named a Mid-Wach All-Star, to the Fitchburg Sentinel All-Star team, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Super Team, and the Metrowest All-Star team.

Triple Play: Sean takes hitting lessons with Coach Fred McDonnald and played AAU baseball for Coach Schoolcraft as 14 and 15 year old.
 

 
John Militano

2012: Militano lead Nashoba with a .418 batting average and .508 on-base-percentage in 67 at-bats with 3 home runs and 13 runs batted in.  Sean lead his team in doubles (6), second in walks (11),  and second runs scored (18).   He was named a Mid-Wach All-Star and to the Fitchburg Sentinel All-Star team.
 
Triple Play: John played on Triple Play All-Star 15U (2011) and 16U AAU (2012) teams with Coach Fred McDonnald.
